H2 Learning has partnered with Do-IT Solutions and City of Dublin Education and Training Board (CDETB) to create a digital education assessment system called Do-IT Profiler.
Do-IT Profiler Background
For the past six years, CDETB has worked with the UK-based company Do-IT Solutions to create a unique set of digital screening and profiling tools that enable colleges, centres and schools under the CDETB remit to better meet learners’ needs.
In 2014, H2 Learning partnered with Do-IT Solutions and CDETB to support the ongoing development and roll out of the digital assessment suite.
What Does Do-IT Profiler Do?
Do-IT Profiler assesses numeracy, literacy, study skills, study trends and a range of other competencies in students. The online tool allows CDETB to assess the educational needs of learners from a literacy and numeracy perspective as well as from a social and emotional perspective. It also allows staff to focus on and address the particular learning style of each individual and to provide guidance and support for those seeking to progress into employment or further education.
Do-IT Solutions Founders Dr. Ian Smythe and Prof. Amanda Kirby (University of South Wales) have more than 20 years of research and practice in the field of SpLD (Dyslexia. Dyspraxia / DCD. Dyscalculia. A.D.D / A.D.H.D.).
The development of both the Do-IT Profiler software itself and also the services provided by CDETB have been significantly supported by banking and financial services company, J P Morgan through their philanthropy project funding.
