H2 Learning works in partnership with Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) to manage Curious Minds Discover STEM (Formally Discover Primary Science and Maths ) workshops.
The face-to-face workshops with up to 30 teachers at a time are delivered by specially trained facilitators in chosen schools. The workshops, delivered three times per term, provide teacher training in general primary science, and provide teachers with useful online resources – which can also be used by parents and students – and classroom activity packs.
Over 3000 primary schools and their teachers are currently participating in activities which include hands-on induction days which are hosted throughout the country in colleges of education, institutes of technology, universities and education centres.
